The Meaning of the Life Path Number of 7 in Numerology
The first calculation to make for a numerological chart is the birth date. The date needs to be written out in the mm/dd/yyyy format. For example if you were born on January 23rd of 1980 it would be 01/23/1980. If you add the numbers of the birth date together you will have the Life Path number. In the example given, it would be 1 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 or 24- which then reduces to 2 + 4 or 6. The Life Path number is a representation of who you were when you were born and how those ingrained traits will take you through life. Remember that the numbers need to be between 1 and 9 except for the master numbers. Do not reduce 11 or 22 as they are the master numbers and a valid result to have.
Those born with a Life Path number of 7 are meant for a life of investigation, observation and analysis. They are able to make evaluations rapidly and accurately due to their incredibly keen mind. Perfectionists, they hold themselves and others up to high standards of thoroughness and completion. But their affectionate and peaceful nature prevents them from being bossy or dominating.
They have a wall up around them due to their ability to see insincerity and deception in the motives of others. Once they get to know someone well and can see that they are worthy, the wall will lower and a lifetime friendship will be established. Though they are charming and poised with a great wit, they will often seem like they are standing off to the side alone. This is because of their sense of insecurity. After they have gotten used to a situation, they will come out of their shell more. But they will never intentionally seek out a group of strangers and join in. While they don’t always mind people, they prefer to be alone.
Introverts, they recharge their energy by spending time alone with their thoughts. Excessive noise, chaos, crowds and distractions are like poison to these people. All of this time spent in thought pays off with a depth of knowledge that is fed from multiple sources. Their thinking is studious and scientific with a conclusion never being drawn without careful effort and dissection. Their sense of intuition is equally strong. Once they have come to a conclusion, though, it is nearly impossible to change their mind on the subject.
Advice is not often heeded by these people since they trust their own mind and instincts more than other people. And they generally do have a knack for making the right choices. There is a tendency to rely on their own capabilities so much that their romantic partners don’t feel like they need to be around. It is hard for these people to open up and truly connect with another person since they are so self contained.
Negative aspects that are associated with a Life Path number of 7 include pessimism and secrecy. If the person is not properly on their path they can be inconsiderate and quarrelsome. A sense of selfishness can develop to the point that some will chose to live alone permanently. Getting rid of the negative aspects can be hard due to a sense of entitlement to an aspect they are not receiving.
